$21,000 ClubGRANTS investment to enhance aged care safety and comfort in Tocumwal
Club Tocumwal is proud to announce a contribution of $21,000 through the ClubGRANTS program to upgrade the foyer and entrance of the Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel.
The funding will deliver vital work, health and safety improvements, including non-slip flooring, as well as upgrades to modernise the dated foyer for appearance and comfort. These changes will ensure the facility is not only more functional and safer for residents, staff, and visitors, but also more inviting and welcoming for families and the community.
Club Tocumwal President Bernie Clements said, “The project reflects the Club Tocumwal’s passion for supporting and investing in our community”.
“We are proud to support Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel through the ClubGRANTS program. Our Board of Directors are passionate about giving back to the community, and this project will make a lasting difference for older residents and those who visit and care for them”.
Club Tocumwal President Bernie Clements and Treasurer Jennie Hehir were pleased to tour the hostel with Manager Tracey Morrison and learn more about the recent improvements underway at the facility.
The $21,000 grant continues Club Tocumwal’s strong commitment to supporting the community with the ClubGRANTS program providing an important avenue to fund projects that improve lives and strengthen local connections.
