Tuesday Saw 45 ladies playing Monthly Medal/ putting with Division 1 that saw Julie Penny taking the honors with Gross Winner 84, Grade winner 69, Medal winner 69. Runner up was Robyn Conrick 74, Shirley Desailly was the Division 2 Gross with 102, Grade winner was Nat Beard 73, Runner up was Cheryl Rossborough 74, NTP’s went to Nola Whiteford 2nd, Mary Murdoch 8th, Putting Comp Gale Tyers, Pro Pin Rhonda Constable $45 17th.
Wednesday 5th saw 95 players playing Stableford with John Smith taking the Division 1 win with 36 pts Doug Pocknee was r/up 35, Division 2 went to Kevin Keating 38 followed by Ian Cameron 37, Division 3 was won by John Carroll 38 pts, runner up was Brian Rooney 36. NTP’s went to Ray McAvoy 2nd, Doug Pocknee 14th, Darren John Pro Pin $99.00. Men’s Gold winner was Allan Penny 40 pts followed by Graeme Sharp 31.
Saturday was our Winter Tournament-Mixed Foursomes with 77 mixed playing with the winning pair going to Paul Mason/Belinda Pitts (Heidelberg) 70. Runner up was Donald Sinclair/Elizabeth Sinclair (East Geelong) 71, 3rd place went to Darren Tyrrell/Cheryl Hart with 71. NTP’s went to Jan Taylor 2nd, Fred Tyers 2nd, 17th Nannette Mullins 17th, Ian Johnson 17th.
Sundays Tournament was Ladies/ Men’s 4BBB Agg Stableford with the Ladies winning pair going to L. McIntyre/D. Nelis77. Runners up were C. Chapman/M. Paszkiewicz 67, 3rd place went to A. Dickinson / D. Clay 64. Men’s winning pair were D Tyrrell/M Hart 75, Runners up were P. Cheesewright/R. Hoy 73, 3rd place was R. Hoy/N. Dehey72.
Monday 10th was the last of the Tournament that saw 49 ladies playing Stableford with Division 1 going to Vicki Waldron with 41 pts. Runner up was Alison Southwell with 36. Maree Kelly was the Division 2 winner with 34 followed by Sheree Geall with 33. Division 3 went to Dianne Nelis with 38 pts r/up was Leanne McIntyre 36, NTP 2nd was Elizabeth Sinclair, 18th was Mary Morgan. We had 63 men playing Stableford with Division 1 going to Ross Sidebottom with 38 pts followed by Jason Kerr 37. John Crilly was the Division 2 winner with 35 on c/back from Tony Andrews 35. Joe Sacco was the Division 3 winner with 41 pts runner up was John Gradie 38. NTP’s went to Paul Stuart 2nd, John Donald 18th.
Overall it was a great tournament with players coming from near and far.
